  • 1 1/3 sticks margarine
  • 4 2/3 c. sugar
  • 1 c. plus 1 Tbsp. self-rising flour
  • 3/4 c. milk
  • 10 medium eggs
  • 3 Tbsp. vanilla flavoring or 4 Tbsp. nutmeg

Directions

    Melt margarine.

    Put sugar, flour and 1/2 of milk (3/8 cup) in margarine and stir.

    Add eggs and stir well. Add rest of milk and flavoring.

    Stir well.

    Pour into 13 x 11-inch pan and bake 1 hour at 325° or until brown.

    Let it get cold and cut into squares.
