Egg-Ham-Cheese Casserole

  • 1 stick Cracker Barrel cheese, grated
  • 2 c. ham, cubed small
  • 16 slices fresh bread, crusts removed
  • 2 c. crushed corn flakes
  • 6 beaten eggs
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 3 c. milk
  • 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1/2 c. melted butter or margarine

Directions

    Butter a 9 x 13 baking pan (or casserole) and place 8 slices of bread on bottom of pan.

    Sprinkle with cheese and ham cubes. Place other 8 slices bread on top of cubes.

    Pour beaten eggs, milk and mustard over all.

    Cover with foil and refrigerate overnight.

    Remove next morning and bring to room temperature. Top with 2 cups crushed corn flakes and 1/2 cup melted butter. Bake 1 hour at 350°.
