- 6 egg yolks
- 1/2 to 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 gal. milk
- 1/4 tsp. salt
Directions

1Mix with mixer and cook in double boiler; stir until thick. Cool in refrigerator.

2While cooling, whip 6 egg whites, 1/8 teaspoon salt, 1/2 cup sugar and 1 teaspoon vanilla.

3Whip until stiff.

4Pour into cooled mixture and serve with nutmeg and whipped cream.
