  • 1 env. Knox gelatin
  • 1/4 c. cool water
  • 5 Large eggs
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 c. warm water
  • 1/4 c. rum
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg

Directions

    Beat egg yolks with 1/2 c. sugar and salt.

    Add in warm water gradually and cook in double boiler, stirring constantly.

    Soften gelatin in cool water, add in to the custard and stir till the gelatin is dissolved.
