Ingredients

  • 12 eggs, separated
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup Bourbon
  • 1/4 cup rum
  • 1/4 cup brandy
  • 1 quart half-and-half
  • 4 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 1 pint whipping cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • nutmeg

Directions

    Beat egg yolks until lemon yellow in color. Gradually add sugar. Add bourbon, rum and brandy very slowly. Add half and half. Mix well.

    Let stand overnight in refrigerator.

    To serve, whip egg whites until stiff; gradually add powdered sugar. Fold into bourbon mixture.

    Whip cream, add vanilla and fold into bourbon/egg white mixtures. Serve in punch bowl and sprinkle with nutmeg.
