  • 1 (16 ounce) package poundcake mix
  • 1 14 cups eggnog
  • 2 large eggs
  • 12 teaspoon nutmeg, freshly grated
  • 12 teaspoon vanilla extract

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

    Beat all ingredients together at low speed with an electric mixer until blended.

    Increase speed to medium, and beat 2 minutes.

    Pour into a lightly greased 9x5-inch loaf pan.

    Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour to 1 hour and 5 mintues or until a long wooden pick inserted comes out clean.

    Cool in pan on a wire rack 10 minutes.

    Remove from pan to wire rack and cool competely (about 1 hour).
