- 1 cup Land O Lakes Butter, softened
- 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar, divided
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/4 teaspoon rum extract
- 2 1/3 cups all-purpose flour
- 3/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/3 cup finely chopped pecans
Directions

1Heat oven to 350F.

2Combine butter, 1 cup powdered sugar, vanilla and rum extract in large bowl.

3Beat at medium speed, scraping bowl often, until creamy.

4Add flour, nutmeg and salt; beat at low speed until just combined.

5(Mixture will be dry and crumbly.)

6Stir in pecans.

7Shape mixture into 1-inch balls.

8Place 1 inch apart onto ungreased cookie sheets.

9Bake 12-15 minutes or until cookies are set.

10Cool on wire rack 10 minutes.

11Roll in remaining 1/2 cup powdered sugar while cookies are still warm.
