- 5 slices bread
- 1 stick butter
- 12 oz. grated cheese
- 4 eggs
- 2 c. milk
- 1/2 tsp. each: salt, pepper and dried mustard
Directions

1Butter bread, both sides, and cut into cubes.

2Combine milk, eggs and seasonings.

3In a 2-quart casserole dish, layer bread and cheese, ending with cheese.

4Pour egg mixture over layers.

5Let stand overnight.

6Bake, uncovered, 1 hour at 350°.
