  • 1 1/2 lb. small skinless pork sausage, browned and cut into thirds
  • 1/2 lb. shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 1/2 c. milk
  • dash of salt
  • 8 slices bread (remove crust and cube)
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 (4 oz.) mushrooms, chopped
  • 1/4 c. dry vermouth

Directions

    In 9 x 13-inch pan sprayed with Pam, place bread cubes, sausage and cheese.

    Beat together eggs, milk and salt.

    Pour over bread, sausage and cheese.

    Cover and refrigerate overnight.
