Directions

1Kill, clean and cut elephant into small cubes (this will take approximately 2 months).

2Put in large kettles and simmer over kerosene heat at 465° until tender (this will take approximately 14 weeks).

3Remove meat and set aside.

4Use flour and make gravy from stock in the pots.

5Place a toothpick in each cube of meat and arrange on large platters.

6Pour up gravy into bowls and serve on the side (for dipping).
