  • 1 large elephant
  • 2 rabbits (optional)
  • 2 boxes salt (26 oz. each)
  • 1 (4 oz.) can black pepper

    Cut the elephant into bite size pieces.

    Add enough brown gravy to cover.

    Simmer over kerosene stove at 465° for about 4 weeks.

    Serves approximately 3,800 people, but if more are expected, add the two rabbits.
