- 932 pt. brown gravy
- 846 lb. potatoes (weigh after peeling; prefer new potatoes)
- 437 lb. carrots (after peeling)
- 71 lb. 4 oz. pepper
- 2 rabbits (optional)
Directions

1Cut elephant meat into small bite size pieces.

2Add enough brown gravy to cover; bring to a slow boil.

3Stir constantly, adding 2 ounces of salt per hour.

4After 9 days and 4 hours, add cut up potatoes and carrots.

5Simmer 17 hours longer.

6Serves approximately 6,837 guests.

7If more stew is needed, the 2 rabbits may be added, but only if necessary since most people don't like finding hare in their stew.
