  • potatoes
  • 1 stick butter
  • parsley flakes
  • 2 onions
  • 1 c. milk
  • flour
  • American cheese

Directions

    Fill 6-quart kettle almost full with potatoes and onions (sliced).

    Cook until done, then pour off water.

    Heat milk and butter; thicken with flour and add lots of cheese.

    Pour over potatoes and stir.

    Sprinkle with parsley flakes and brown in oven at 350° to 400°.
