- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 cup lard
- 1/2 cup water
Directions

1Combine flour, baking powder and salt in large bowl.

2Cut in lard with pastry blender or 2 knives until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

3Gradually add water, stirring until mixture forms ball.

4Place dough on lightly floured surface; knead 5 min.

6Wrap tightly in plastic wrap; set aside while preparing empanada filling.
