  • 1 c. chopped green olives
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 4 hard-boiled eggs, chopped
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 c. raisins, soaked 10 minutes in cold water
  • 2 lb. ground meat
  • 1 large green pepper, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp. Crisco oil

Directions

    Saute green pepper and onion in oil; add ground meat and salt. Fry in large skillet, stirring frequently, until meat is done. Add olives, eggs and raisins.

    You can add other seasonings such as nutmeg, paprika, garlic salt and 3 to 4 tablespoons of Parmesan cheese.

    Set meat mixture on very low heat so spices can penetrate meat thoroughly.
