- 3 c. sliced okra
- 1 onion, chopped coarse
- 1/2 c. flour
- 1/2 c. cornmeal
- cooking oil
- salt to taste
Directions

1Put okra and onion in a large plastic bowl.

2Toss with flour and cornmeal.

3Cook in microwave for 5 minutes, stirring halfway. Put enough oil in iron skillet to coat bottom.

4When oil is hot, add okra mixture.

5Fry about 5 minutes, stirring often.

6Salt to taste before serving.
