Ingredients

  • 2 lb. ground chuck
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 garlic or minced
  • 1 can tomatoes with green chilies (Ro-Tel)
  • 1 pkg. taco mix
  • 1 tsp. chili powder
  • 1 can tomato sauce (small)
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 pkg. flour tortillas
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
  • 3/4 c. milk

Directions

    Brown ground chuck, onion and garlic.

    Drain.

    Add tomatoes, tomato sauce, taco mix, chili powder, salt and pepper.

    Line bottom of 9 x 13 dish with 1/2 tortillas.

    Place 1/2 mixture on top and then layer other tortillas and other 1/2 of mixture.

    Add can of soup on top of this, then milk and sprinkle with cheese. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
