- 12 corn tortillas
- 2 cans mild enchilada sauce
- 2 lb. ground meat
- 2 c. grated Colby Jack cheese
- 12 Tbsp. finely chopped onions
- 1 tsp. salt and pepper
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp. chili powder
Directions

1Fry ground meat in skillet until brown.

2Add onions and cook until tender.

3Drain and set aside.

4Heat enchilada sauce until hot.

5Fry tortillas in hot grease, about 1 minute, each side. Then dip in enchilada sauce and put in bottom of 13 x 9-inch pan. Layer 6 tortillas, meat, sauce and cheese.

6Make 2 layers using all meat and sauce.

7Top with lots of cheese.

8Bake in oven at 350° until all cheese is melted and bubbly.
