  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1 1/2 c. honey
  • 4 Tbsp. carob powder
  • 1 c. peeled, grated apple
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 3 c. rolled oats
  • 1 c. chopped nuts
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Melt the butter and add the next 5 ingredients.

    Boil for 1 minute; remove from heat and add the rolled oats, nuts and vanilla. Blend well.

    Drop onto oiled cookie sheet or waxed paper.

    Let cool and eat.
