- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 eggs
- 3/4 cup milk
Directions

1Preheat oven to 425F.

2Mix dry ingredients in a med-large bowl.

3Add egg and milk to bowl and mix well.

4You can add scone filler ingredients here if you like : chocolate chips, blueberries, raisins, etc.

5Leave 2 tablespoons in bowl.

6This will be used as a glaze later.

7Once everything is mixed, dump contents onto floured surface and form dough with your hands.

8Roll out dough to 3/4inch thickness.

9Use round cookie cutter to cut scones out of dough.

10Place scones on greased cookie sheet.

11Glaze top of scones with the remaining 2 tablespoons of mixture.

12Leave sitting at room temperature for 10 minutes.

13Place scones in oven for 10 minutes.
