  • 1 small head cabbage
  • salt to taste
  • 1 pkg. rolled crackers
  • 1 stick oleo
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • milk
  • cheese
  • pepper to taste

Directions

    Shred cabbage coarser than for kraut.

    Put in a saucepan; add salt and pepper to taste.

    Cook cabbage until tender.

    Add rolled crackers and oleo to drained cabbage.

    Add 1 tablespoon sugar. Pour mixture into baking dish; add milk to cabbage mixture.

    Dot with cheese on top.

    Bake in a 400° oven for about 20 to 30 minutes, until golden brown.
