Escalloped Tomatoes

  • 1 (No. 2) can tomatoes or 4 large, fresh tomatoes, peeled and diced
  • 2 c. soft bread crumbs
  • 1 heaping tsp. onion salt
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. butter

Directions

    Put tomatoes into 4-cup buttered casserole.

    Add half the bread crumbs and mix.
  3. 3
    Stir in onion salt and sugar.

    Brown rest of bread crumbs in the butter and sprinkle over top of casserole.

    Place in 375° oven for about 15 to 20 minutes or until hot through.
