Escalloped Vegetables

  • 8 oz. each fresh broccoli, cauliflower and carrots
  • 4 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 4 Tbsp. flour
  • 2 c. milk
  • 4 oz. Swiss cheese, cubed
  • salt

Directions

    Melt butter. Add flour and cook on medium 2 minutes.

    Remove and stir in milk. Cook until thick.

    Add cheese and stir. Add salt to taste.

    Combine vegetables and sauce.

    Bake at 350° until cheese bubbles.
