Ingredients
- 1/3 c. olive oil
- 1 medium onion
- 1 green pepper, chopped fine
- garlic powder according to taste
- 3 to 4 lb. ground beef
- 2 large cans whole tomatoes
- 1 large can tomato sauce
- chopped parsley
- 4 or 5 basil leaves
- salt and pepper to taste
- 2 large pkg. Mozzarella
- 2 large pkg. sharp Cheddar
- 1 large box noodles
Directions

1Chop and brown onion and green pepper in olive oil with garlic powder.

2Simmer for 15 minutes.

3Brown and drain 3 to 4 pounds of ground beef.

4Add all remaining ingredients (except cheese), including onion and green pepper.

5Cook until sauce becomes thick. Boil noodles in salted water for 10 minutes.

6Add 2 tablespoons of oil.

7Grease pans and alternate layers of noodles, sauce, then cheese.

8Add more noodles, then sauce; top with cheese.

9Bake at 375° for 30 to 40 minutes, until bubbly and brown.
