  • 1 c. margarine
  • 2 c. packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. light Karo syrup
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 8 to 10 qt. popped popcorn

Directions

    Melt margarine; add sugar, Karo syrup and salt.

    Bring to rolling boil and cook for 5 minutes.

    Remove from heat; add soda and vanilla.

    Mix well.

    Pour over popped popcorn and mix well. Place pan in oven at 200° and bake for 1 hour; stir every 15 minutes.
