  • 1 large head cabbage
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 c. vinegar
  • 1/2 c. water

Directions

    Chop cabbage and carrot.

    Soak both in ice water to which the salt was added.

    Boil sugar, vinegar and water for 1 minute.

    Drain cabbage.

    Add the syrup.

    Place in refrigerator.

    Keeps for days.
