  • 4 1/2 c. chopped pecans
  • 2 lb. dates, chopped
  • 1 lb. candied pineapple, cut up
  • 2 (14 oz.) cans sweetened condensed milk
  • 3 1/2 c. chopped English walnuts
  • 1 lb. candied cherries, cut up
  • 8 oz. shredded coconut

Directions

    Combine all ingredients, but reserve a few cherries for decoration.

    Turn into a greased and floured pan.

    Bake at 225° for about 1 hour and 30 minutes.

    Cake is done when no milk oozes out when pressed with fingers.

    Decorate with cherries.

    Let cool. Store in refrigerator or freezer for about a month.
