Ingredients: 1 c. sugar; 1/2 c. butter, room temp.; 2 eggs; 1 1/2 c. flour; 1 tsp. baking soda; 1/2 tsp. salt; 1 c. mashed bananas; 1/2 c. sour cream; 1 tsp. vanilla; 1/2 c. chopped pecans

1/2 c. butter, room temp.
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. mashed bananas
1/2 c. sour cream
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. chopped pecans

Preheat oven to 350°.

Cream butter, sugar and eggs. Sift dry ingredients and combine with butter mixture. Blend well. Add bananas, vanilla and sour cream.

Stir very well.

Mix in nuts and pour into a well greased and floured 9x5x3 inch loaf pan. Bake 1 hour 10 mins.

Remove from pan and cook on rack.

I have used yogurt in place of sour cream with no change.
