  • 2 c. plain salt
  • 1 Tbsp. alum
  • 10 c. vinegar
  • 15 c. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. celery seed
  • 1 oz. cinnamon bark

    and rinse. Cover with 1 gallon of boiling water

    Combine all ingredients except 3 cups sugar.

    Bring to a boil and pour over pickles.
