  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 4 cubes frozen parsley
  • 3 cubes frozen cilantro
  • 1-2 cube frozen dill
  • 1 teaspoon salt to taste, and then add a little more
  • 1/2 tablespoon pepper
  • 1/2 tablespoon cumin
  • 1/2 tablespoon coriander
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • Latkes
  • 1/2 cup falafel paste
  • 1/2 pound yellow potatoes, grated
  • 1 XL Egg, beaten
  • 1 small yellow onion, finely chopped
  • 1 pinch baking powder
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • olive oil for frying
