  • 4 c. apples
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 c. oil
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 3 c. flour
  • 2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 c. black walnuts or English walnuts

Directions

    Peel and dice apples enough for 4 cups.

    Mix with sugar; let stand 1 hour.

    Add eggs beaten in salad oil and vanilla.

    Add flour sifted with salt and baking soda.

    Add walnuts. Mix well, but do not beat hard.

    Bake in greased and floured pan at 325° for 45 minutes in Bundt pan.
