- 7 to 8 medium Russet potatoes
- 1/2 c. melted butter
- 1 c. half and half cream
- 12 oz. medium Cheddar cheese
Directions

1Parboil or steam potatoes until almost cooked.

2Peel potatoes and grate.

3Put melted butter in an 8 x 8-inch pan and add grated potatoes.

4Pour half and half cream to cover bottom half of potatoes.

5Bake at 350° until the cream is absorbed by potatoes (approximately 45 minutes).

6Sprinkle grated Cheddar cheese on top and place back in oven until cheese is melted.

7Serve.
