Ingredients

  • 3/4 c. (1 1/2 sticks) margarine
  • 3 c. sugar
  • 2/3 c. evaporated milk
  • 1 pkg. of semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 jar marshmallow cream
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. chopped nuts

Directions

    Mix margarine, sugar and milk in heavy 2 1/2 to 3-quart saucepan and bring to a full boil; stirring constantly.

    Continue boiling for 5 minutes over medium heat (or until candy thermometer reaches 234°), stirring constantly.

    Remove from heat. Gradually stir in chocolate chips until melted. Add remaining ingredients; mix well.

    Pour in 13 x 9-inch baking pan. Cool at room temperature, cut.
