  • 1 13/16 cups prunes
  • rum
  • 4 eggs
  • 5/8 cup sugar plus 1-1/2 tsp. sugar
  • salt
  • 1 cup flour
  • 3 1/2 tablespoons butter melted
  • milk 500 cl.

    Preheat oven to 350 F.

    Soak the prunes in lukewarm water and rum for 10 minutes.

    Mix together eggs, sugar, vanilla sugar and a pinch of salt.

    Add flour, a shot glass of rum, melted butter, and milk.

    Drain prunes and place in baking dish greased with butter.

    Pour mixture over prunes and bake 45 minutes to 1 hour.

    Turn off oven but allow to sit in the oven.
