Ingredients

  • 8 cup chicken stock
  • 1 lb beans [ I use a 10 bean mix for sprouts]
  • 1 lb smoked turkey [meat is optional]
  • 1/2 tbsp paprika
  • 1 bell pepper diced
  • 3 large carrots sliced thick
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 2 medium potatoes, chopped
  • 2 large zucchini, halved and sliced into 1 inch thick chunks.
  • 2 large tomatoes, diced
  • 3 cup spinach
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp savory
  • 1 1/2 tsp chopped parsley

Directions

    Add 2 cups water, chicken stock and tomato to 1 lb of beans in a large pot.

    Bring to boil then reduce heat to low.

    Cook for 2 hours.

    After the 2 hrs are up.

    add all your veggies except the spinach.

    Add seasonings.

    Simmer on low for 45 minutes.

    Add the spinach and simmer for 15 minutes.

    Taste your broth and add salt and black pepper.
