- 1 1/4 c. flour
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. unsweetened cocoa
- 1/4 c. corn starch
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 4 egg whites
- 1 c. water
- 1/2 c. corn syrup (light or dark)
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2Spray 9-inch square baking pan with a nonstick spray.

3In a large mixing bowl, combine all dry ingredients until well mixed.

4In a separate small bowl, whisk egg whites, water and corn syrup.

5Add to dry ingredients and stir until smooth.

6Pour into prepared baking pan; bake 30 minutes. Cake is done when it springs back when lightly touched.
