- 1 c. pecan halves
- 1 (9-inch) pastry shell, unbaked
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 c. syrup (yellow label)
- 2 Tbsp. margarine, melted
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1/8 tsp. salt
Directions

1Place pecan halves in a pattern in bottom of unbaked pastry shell.

2Beat eggs slightly.

3Mix in syrup, sugar, margarine, vanilla and salt.

4Gently pour into unbaked shell.

5Bake at 400° for 15 minutes.

6Lower temperature to 350° and cook an additional 30 minutes.

7(Filling should be slightly less set in center than around edges.)
