- 1/3 cup shortening
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1-1/2 cup cake flour
- 1-1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
Directions

1In a mixing bowl, cream shortening, sugar and egg.

2Combine dry ingredients; add to the creamed mixture alternately with milk.

3Fill greased muffin tins 2/3 full.

4Bake at 325F for 20 to 25 minuites or until golden.

5Let cool for 3-4 minutes.

6Meanwhile, combine sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl.

7Roll warm muffins in melted butter, tehn in sugar mixture.

8Serve warm.
