  • 1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
  • 1 c. Bisquick
  • 1/3 c. milk
  • 1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
  • 1 egg, slightly beaten
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • poppy seeds
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion

    Combine 1/2 cup cheese, Bisquick and milk. Beat until smooth; will be sticky. Knead 10 times on floured board, working in small amount of flour if too sticky. Butter 8 or 9-inch pie plate and also your hands. Spread in bottom of pie plate. Combine 1 cup of cheese and egg. Spread on crust. Spread on sauteed onion and top with poppy seeds. Bake at 425° for 20 minutes. Makes 6 slices.
