- 2 c. corn meal
- 2 eggs
- 1 (16 oz.) can cream-style corn
- 2/3 c. chopped onion
- 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1 c. flour
- 1/3 c. oil
- 1 lb. ground beef
- jalapeno pepper
- 1 c. milk
Directions

1Brown ground beef with onion and chopped pepper (to taste). Drain.

2Mix flour, meal, eggs, oil, corn and milk together.

3Pour 1/2 of batter into greased pan.

4Layer ground beef mixture, then Cheddar cheese.

5Top with rest of batter.

6Bake at 375° for 45 to 60 minutes, until done.
