Ingredients
- 2 c. water
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 2 eggs
- 2 (16.6 oz.) pkg. date bread mix or (15.4 oz.) nut bread mix
- 2 c. chopped pecans
- 2 c. raisins
- 2 c. (12 to 13 oz.) candied cherries
- 1 c. candied pineapple, cut up
- corn syrup (if desired)
Directions

1Heat oven to 350°.

2Grease and flour sides and bottom of tube pan.

3In large bowl, combine water, oil and eggs.

4Add remaining ingredients (except syrup).

5Stir by hand until combined.

6Pour into prepared pan and bake 75 to 85 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean on low oven rack.

7Cool in pan 30 minutes.

8Loosen and remove from pan.

9Cool completely.
-
10Wrap to keep refrigerated (2 weeks) or freeze (3 months).
