- 1/3 stick butter
- 1 pt. heavy cream
- 1 c. fresh Romano or Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg yolk
- salt and pepper
- 1 pkg. fettucini noodles
Directions

1Boil fettucini noodles in lightly salted water with a dash of oil added to keep from sticking.

2Boil until tender.

3Melt butter in a large frying pan.

4Beat egg yolk.

5Add cream.

6Beat until blended and add to butter.

7Heat to medium for 1 or 2 minutes. Add drained noodles and toss lightly, adding salt and pepper to taste and 3/4 cup of cheese.

8Use remaining cheese for serving. Serve immediately.
