- 2 c. flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 c. oil
- 3 eggs
- 1 c. buttermilk
- 1 c. fig preserves
- 1 c. chopped nuts
- 1 Tbsp. vanilla
Directions

1Mix flour, salt, soda and sugar.

2Add oil and eggs.

3Beat well.

4Slowly add buttermilk, fig preserves, nuts and vanilla. Stir.

5Pour batter into greased and floured loaf pan.

6Fill 3/4 full.

7You may need to use 2 pans.

8Bake at 325° for 40 to 45 minutes.
