  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. allspice
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. nuts (pecans), chopped
  • 1 c. buttermilk
  • 1 c. Wesson oil
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 c. figs, mashed
  • 1 c. raisins

    Sift dry ingredients together.

    Add raisins and pecans to sugar.

    Add oil, eggs and buttermilk.

    Add dry ingredients.

    Add figs last.

    Bake in tube pan, well-greased and floured.

    Bake for 45 minutes in 350° oven.
