  • 1 c. sugar (if raw figs)
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 c. salad oil
  • 1 tsp. baking soda in 1 c. boiling water
  • 3 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. ginger
  • 1/2 tsp. allspice
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 c. chopped pecans
  • 1 c. raw figs or 1 pt. fig preserves

Directions

    Mix ingredients in order given and put in well-greased pan (I use a Bundt or tube pan).

    Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
