  • 1 qt. fig preserves
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 1/2 c. flour
  • 1 c. oil
  • 3 medium eggs
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 2 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. chopped pecans

Directions

    Mix all dry ingredients.

    Mix figs, sugar, oil and eggs.

    Add the mixtures together and bake in tube pan for 1 hour at 375°.

    Put a pan of water on the lower shelf and it will help keep it from getting too brown on the bottom and drying out.
