Ingredients

  • 4 lb. figs, peeled
  • 3 lb. sugar
  • 1 c. raisins
  • 1 c. chopped pecans
  • juice and grated rind of 2 oranges

    Cook figs

    and sugar over low heat until thick (about 1 hour). Add orange juice, raisins and pecans.

    Seal in sterilized jars.
