- 1/4 c. margarine, softened
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/2 c. light corn syrup
- 1/2 c. water
- 2 c. all-purpose flour
- 4 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. soda
- 1 c. cooked figs, drained and chopped
- 3/4 c. bread crumbs
Directions

1Cream margarine and sugar until light and fluffy.

2Add egg and corn syrup and mix well.

3Blend in water, flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, ginger and soda.

4Add figs, mixing gently; stir in bread crumbs.

5Fill greased muffin pans 2/3 full.

6Bake at 350° for 15 to 20 minutes.

7Yields 12 muffins.
