  • 3 c. figs, cut in quarters
  • 1/4 c. plus 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 2 Tbsp. melted butter
  • pinch of ginger
  • 1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
  • 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 2 eggs, beaten

Directions

    Place figs in pie shell.

    Mix other ingredients and pour over figs.

    Bake in preheated oven at 450° for 10 minutes.

    Reduce to 350° for 30 minutes more.
