Ingredients

  • 1 c. sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. flour
  • 1/2 c. water and fig juice
  • 2 Tbsp. grated lemon rind
  • 1/3 c. lemon juice
  • 1 c. canned figs, chopped
  • 1 can (6) biscuits

Directions

    Combine first 6 ingredients and cook slowly until thick.

    Cool. Roll biscuits as thin as possible.

    Place a tablespoon of mixture on half of the biscuit.

    Moisten edges and fold other half over the filling.

    Pinch edges together; prick top.

    Place in hot oven at 450°.

    Brown as you would biscuits.
