- 1 c. sugar
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- 1/2 c. water and fig juice
- 2 Tbsp. grated lemon rind
- 1/3 c. lemon juice
- 1 c. canned figs, chopped
- 1 can (6) biscuits
Directions

1Combine first 6 ingredients and cook slowly until thick.

2Cool. Roll biscuits as thin as possible.

3Place a tablespoon of mixture on half of the biscuit.

4Moisten edges and fold other half over the filling.

5Pinch edges together; prick top.

6Place in hot oven at 450°.

7Brown as you would biscuits.

8Makes 6 servings.
